La Vie Est Musique!
Merci to Mme Ducharme for organizing two wonderful French performance for our students made available by French Arts funding. Primary and Junior French Immersion, as well as some of our English classes enjoyed “La Vie est Musique” and the rich musical and French content!
Student Council
Many Polson students turned up at our Student Council Information meeting and submitted their candidacy forms to their teachers. Class elections and speeches will be held this week with names due to Mme Pacheco by September 25th. Our first meeting will take place on September 26th.

Staffing Update
We were notified of an additional staffing change at Polson. All the best to Mme Jaynes who will be leaving to begin a new position at Amherstview Public School. We will keep you informed once our Core French vacancy is filled.
Lunch is Ready! Free Lunch Program
The Food Sharing Project is offering students a free school lunch program called Lunch is Ready! where nutritious lunches are prepared and delivered directly to students. Each lunch comes with a main dish, milk, and fruit, which is delivered directly to our school on Fridays, for second nutrition break.
There are halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free meal options. To view the menu please visit www.foodsharingproject.store.
How to join To sign up for 12 weeks of meals go to www.foodsharingproject.store and follow the steps to register, OR ask your school for a sign up form. Parents were asked to sign up by Sep 19, 2025. If you miss the deadline please reach out to us info@foodsharingproject.org
What happens next? A sample menu item will be sent to all student on Sep 26th, 2025. Starting October 3rd, 2025 meals will be provided to students who have signed up every Friday until December 19th, 2025.

Pay What You Can Lunch Is Ready! meals are offered at no charge. However, some families may want to contribute to the cost of the meal. Each meal costs approximately $4 to prepare. If you are able, you may choose to contribute when you register online
LUNCHBOX - Weekly School Lunch Orders start this week!

A reminder that orders are due each Sunday by noon through the LUNCHBOX website for delivery on Wednesdays for first nutrition break. Purchases help support student activities at Polson.
