Staffing News
We will be saying farewell to our office administrator, Marie Campbell, who has accepted a new position at Perth Road Public School. We would like to thank Mrs. Campbell for all her work in the main office helping students, staff and parents over the years. Please make sure to wish her well during her final week at Polson. We will keep you updated as the staffing process continues to fill the vacancy.
PA Day Focus on Student Achievement Planning
On the PA Day, Polson educators worked on developing this year’s student achievement plan with a focus on literacy and math and student wellbeing. Many thanks to our staff leaders who facilitated sessions on diagnostic assessment, short learning cycles, and tier 1 classroom supports and interventions. Staff also worked on developing individual education plans for students with special needs that go home for review and consultation on October 16th.
