What's Happening at Polson
June is a busy month at Polson with many field trips, sporting events, and special activities including ultimate frisbee, track & field and a French cafe. Many thanks to teachers who volunteer their time to coach and organize these special events.
We are wrapping up EQAO assessments on Monday, and we will say farewell to our LDSB tutors, Mackenzie and Charlotte later this week. They have been working with our grade three and six students and collaborating with our team to prepare our students. Merci beaucoup!
Mme Fischer's class met some alpacas at Ruby's farm.
Polson SAC Fun Fair!
This week, we are also looking forward to our our annual Polson Fun Fair organized by our parent council. Proceeds raised will go towards improving our playground with the purchase of a replacement slide for one of our climbers. Hope you can join us!
Track & Field
Congratulations to all the amazing Polson athletes who
competed at the Regional Meet! The coaches are so proud of the
effort and determination on display by each of the athletes. There were so many
great moments of personal growth, personal bests, and teamwork! 3 of our 4 relay teams have advanced to the
District Championships next Tuesday, June 9th. We also have 14 individual
athletes competing in events. Thank you to
our staff coaches and volunteers. Merci M.
Ormiston for taking the lead on organizing and coaching. Go Panthers!
