What’s Happening at Polson!

Students learned about school bus safety through fun interactive presentations. A highlight for younger students was meeting Buster the Bus!

Finding Happy explores the emotional, spiritual, and therapeutic benefits of these relationships. From Zach Skow and his two-legged dog, Cora, to Lek Chailert's connection with her elephant family in Thailand, the film highlights how these extraordinary human-animal bonds provide a sense of purpose, healing, and joy.

Carnaval d’Hiver 2026

In the spirit of the Quebec Winter Carnival, and just in time for the Winter Olympics, Polson is getting ready for it’s annual Carnaval d’hiver!  Staff have organized a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for students and our Polson Park School Advisory Council providing students with Pancakes from Denny’s!  

Lunch is Ready! Free Lunch Program

This delivery session runs on Fridays (January 12–April 6, 2026).

Please note that Lunch is Ready meals are not cancelled on inclement weather days.

LunchBox -Wednesday School Lunch Orders:

Subway subs will be delivered on Wednesday, February 11^th at first nutrition break.  A reminder that orders are due each Sunday by noon through the LunchBox website for delivery on Wednesdays at first nutrition break.

 In the case of board-wide school bus cancellations, LunchBox orders will be cancelled in the morning and refunds issued.

2026-27 School Calendar Survey

Mandatory Immunization Reporting Due

The ISPA requires that for children born in 2-10 or later, students be appropriately immunized, or have a valid medical or conscience/religious exemption on file at public health.  Please follow the link for more information on how to report and track your child’s immunizations:

The Immunization Reporting Deadline for parents/guardians/students to report immunization records or valid exemptions to SEPH is February 9th. Students who do not provide proof of immunization or a valid exemption to SEPH may be suspended from school under the ISPA for up to 20 school days.
