What’s Happening at Polson!

We may be a little heartbroken, but we still love cheering on Canada!

Staffing News

We have some new additions to our term 2 staff.  Jayden Downing will be at Polson in the afternoons teaching Core French and primary planning time subjects.  As well, we are welcoming back Julia Honcharsky who will be taking over for Ms. King and Ms Shultz during Ms. Shultz’s leave.  They are a great addition to the Polson team!

Kindness Week

We are focusing on kindness this week and will kick off the week with 2 Kindness Assemblies with primary and junior students on Monday. We will be encouraging acts of kindness and recognizing kindness in others. As well, Pink Shirt Day is on Wednesday, February 27, 2026. Be kind, and stand up to bullying, Panthers!

Mr. Blackburn, our superintendent, visited kindergarten classes on Friday, and spotted lots of smiles and engagement in numeracy activities. Thank you for visiting, Mr. Blackburn!

Lunch is Ready! Free Lunch Program

This delivery session runs on Fridays (January 12–April 6, 2026).Please note that Lunch is Ready meals are not cancelled on inclement weather days.

LunchBox -Wednesday School Lunch Orders:

Little Caesars Pizza will be delivered on Wednesday, February 25th at first nutrition break.  A reminder that orders are due each Sunday by noon through the LunchBox website for delivery on Wednesdays at first nutrition break.

 In the case of board-wide school bus cancellations, LunchBox orders will be cancelled in the morning and refunds issued.

Some of our students have been learning baking skills and helping with the LIFT cart delivery. They enjoy sampling their baked goods and offering our staff some treats. Much appreciated!
