What’s Happening at Polson!

At Polson, we celebrated the 100th day of school this past week! Report cards went home on Friday, so check your child's backpack. Please reach out to classroom teachers if you would like to discuss your child's progress and next steps for Term 2!

This week many of our students and families will be to celebrating the Lunar New Year. Happy New Year to all who celebrate! As well, this week marks the beginning of important seasons of observance such as Ramadan and Lent. Thank you for letting classroom teachers know if your child might benefit from any school accommodations in the coming weeks.

CARNAVAL D’HIVER!

Polson students enjoyed fantastic weather for the Polson Winter Carnival.  Thank you to Mme Fischer for taking the lead in organizing the day and to all staff and volunteers who helped out with the setup and running the activities.  Special thanks to our parent council for purchasing tasty pancakes from Denny’s for all our students to enjoy!

SAC Family Movie Night

Thank you to all those who joined us at our SAC Family Movie Night event.  We were inspired by the wonderful stories told in Finding Happy and will continue to share the messages of kindness and connection during our Random Acts of Kindness Week next week.  Special thanks to parent volunteers who organized this special event!

Lunch is Ready! Free Lunch Program

This delivery session runs on Fridays (January 12–April 6, 2026).

Please note that Lunch is Ready meals are not cancelled on inclement weather days.

LunchBox -Wednesday School Lunch Orders:

Subway subs will be delivered on Wednesday, February 18^th at first nutrition break.  A reminder that orders are due each Sunday by noon through the LunchBox website for delivery on Wednesdays at first nutrition break.

 In the case of board-wide school bus cancellations, LunchBox orders will be cancelled in the morning and refunds issued.
